MIT OpenCourseWare has formally partnered with these organizations that are translating OCW course materials into Spanish, Portuguese, Traditional Chinese, Persian, Turkish, and Korean.

Spanish and Portuguese Translations: Universia
Universia is a consortium of more than 800 colleges in Spain, Portugal, and Latin America. The translated courses have links on their OCW homepages directly to the Universia-translated version. The translated courses are available in Spanish and in Portuguese.
Traditional Chinese Translations: Opensource Opencourseware Prototype System
Opensource Opencourseware Prototype System (OOPS) is a volunteer-based organization that has translated OCW courses into Traditional Chinese. The translated courses have links on their OCW homepages directly to the OOPS-translated version in Traditional Chinese.
Persian Translations: Shahid Beheshti University
Shahid Beheshti University was established in 1959 as the National University of Iran. The University offers more than 127 programs at Master's and more than 65 courses at Ph.D. levels. The translated courses have links on their OCW homepage directly to the Shahid Beheshti-translated version in Persian.
Turkish Translations: Turkish Academy of Sciences
The Turkish Academy of Sciences (TUBA) establishes national standards for scientific excellence in Turkey and encourages and fosters scientific collaborations. TUBA also promotes scientific research and provides scholarships, financial support, and award programs for the next generation of Turkish scholars.
Korean Translations: Sookmyung Network for Open World
SNOW (Sookmyung Network for Open World) is an open knowledge platform taking the lead in knowledge sharing in Korea for everyone who wants to access great educational contents. Users can utilize quality contents with educational worth and provide Korean translation as volunteers. The translated courses have links on their OCW homepages directly to the SNOW-translated version in Korean.
Other Translations
Since September 2002, when the OCW pilot phase opened to the public, OCW materials have been translated into at least 10 languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, French, German, Vietnamese, and Ukrainian.
Under the OCW Creative Commons license, users are allowed to translate OCW materials into the language of their choice. Translations are acceptable use of OCW materials provided they meet the three requirements of the OCW Creative Commons license: That the user provide attribution of the materials they choose to adapt; that the use of the materials be a non-commercial activity; and that the user share the derivative work openly as OCW is free and open, or "share alike." In addition, any of OCW materials translated into other languages from the original English must be accompanied by the following disclaimer: "These MIT OpenCourseWare course materials have been translated into ________________ [language] by _____________________ [individual or group name].
